Aims of Congress

Aims of the International Congress of Coaching Psychology Forum

The congress events have a key aim of bringing the global coaching psychology community together. The collaborating professional psychology bodies will promote and hold the congress in their own region. Other aims include:

To promote the development of the coaching psychology profession around the world
To bring together the coaching psychology community
To share within the psychology community the theory, research and practice of
coaching and coaching psychology
To engage all professionals interested in coaching and coaching psychology

The professional membership psychology bodies who are members of the ICCP forum have agreed to the aims.

NB. The title of the congress in each region will be:

1st International Congress of Coaching Psychology 2010-2011. In 2012 the title of the congress in each region was: 2nd International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2012. In 2013 the title in each region was: 3rd International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2013. In 2014 the title in each region was: 4th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2014. In 2015 the title in each region was: 5th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2015. In 2016 the title in each region was: 6th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2016. In 2017 the title in each region was: 7th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2017. In 2018 the title in each region was: 8th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2018. In 2019 the title in each region will be: 9th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2019. In 2020 the title in each region will be: 10th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2020. During 2020, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the only ICCP event was hosted virtually by the ISCP. Since 2020, the ISCP has continued to run their events virtually.

In 2023 the title in each region will be: 12th International Congress of Coaching Psychology, 2023.
